Hello! As I reach out to many of our wonderful vegan bloggers, I have received the same question in response to my comment, “Send me your HTML”. I figured this required a blog post on how exactly to do this.
Please remember, the point of VBU! is to unite vegan bloggers, no need to worry about which post I’d like, it’s really about you and your work.
I am just here to help bring awareness to your page. Anything you have is fine, it doesn’t have to be about food, the post should be something you like and what you think reflects you.
Requirements:
You MUST BE FULLY VEGAN.
I cannot accept posts if you are in “transition” or consider honey vegan.
WordPress:
Step 1: Log in to your dashboard and click on ALL POST (Click to enlarge)
Step 2: Click on title of Blog Post and go to HTML tab:
Step 3: Select all text and copy/paste:
That’s it! You’re done. Now email this part to: veganbloggersunite [@] gmail.com
Please be sure to include:
– a small bio
– your blog name
– your blog URL
– Any social media links you want mentioned: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.
Blogger:
1. Login and click to start a new blog post or click on the post you already have written:
Next to the Compose tab is the HTML
2. Click the HTML tab and copy/paste all the code:
That’s it! You’re done. Now email this part to: veganbloggersunite [@] gmail.com
Please be sure to include:
– a small bio
– The name of your post
– your blog name
– your blog URL
– Any social media links you want mentioned: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.
Thank you!
I’ll be more than happy to submit a recipe or two. Leme know which of my recipes are you interested in. Thanks!
Any post you like, I’m not picky, it all looks good. 🙂 Thanks!
Do you take recipes mixed with commentary?
Yes! For sure. We take all posts written by vegans. 🙂
Hi, I just thought I’ll check if you received my email with a recipe for green pea soup I emailed a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to hearing from you, Joanna
I am fully vegan, but my blog is for noobs, or people who are new to the idea. It’s sort-of instructional and very informative, but I’ll include recipes too. Would my blog be the kind of blog your blog would…blog?
Just e-mailed you a post, hope you like it!
Hi Lidia,
What a wonderful idea it was to create Vegan Bloggers Unite. I can’t wait to submit a recipe post to your wonderful site. This is such a great resource. All the best, Deborah Davis/UrbanNaturale.com
Hello Deborah! Thank you so very kindly for the encouragement. Please do send in your HTML! 🙂
My blog isn’t 100% vegan as I post about my writing and books too. I am vegan and write lots of vegan recipes, can I submit one and join in?
It’s fine as long as you’re vegan. It can be anything you wish. 🙂
Hi, my name is Willow and I just started createmindfully.com. two weeks ago. I post vegan and gluten free recipes. I am considering doing the potluck because I think it is such a great idea. I would like to download the VBU badge, but I can’t find where to do that. Thanks!
Hi Willow!
Thank you so very kindly for wanting to have the VBU! badge. You can find the HTML underneath the badge. Each time I post the HTML it translates into the image. I’ll just email you the code.
Please feel free to send in a post! I’d love to see it. 🙂
Lidia
….so is this an inactive blog now?
Hi Cindi,
I’d love to host more vegan blog posts, but people aren’t really willing to participate. I’ve had a shift in career, which is taking up more of my time these days.
Lidia
Are you still up and running?
Not really so much these days.
